| Allens was a complex of buildings including a four storey L-shaped heavy industrial concrete building on three street frontages. In the centre of the complex was an 87 meter high chimney. |

| After the asbestos had been removed the main structure was demolished down to two stories using machinery located on the structure. Following this the lower two stories were demolished using ground based machinery. |
