Paringa Gold Treatment Plant - Project No: 96535

Purchase of assets & clearance demo, Paringa Gold treatment, KCGM Fimiston, Kalgoorlie WA

The hydraulic shears are snipping off plant footings that are protruding above the ground.
A loaded road train bound for Perth that is leaving a gold mine site at Kalgoorlie with processed scrap metal.
Inducing the designed structural failure of the supports of a 23 meter high primary ore bin at the Paringa Gold Treatment Plant, WA.
Second shot of the primary ore bin induced support failure.
Shot one of three showing the 100 tonne excavator fitted with rotary head metal shear removing the protruding tops of concrete footings at the Paringa Gold Treatment Plant, WA.
Shot two of three showing the removal of the protruding tops of concrete footings. This was done to create crane access for the removal of leaching tanks to auction.
Shot three of three showing the removal of the protruding tops of concrete footings without destroying the concrete surface. This allows all weather access to be maintained.
A sequence of 10 shots showing a mechanically induced, controlled directional structural failure. This shot displays mechanical preparation works.
Mechanical preparation works for the designed structural failure of the 3000 tonne fine ore bin at the Paringa Gold Treatment Plant, WA.
Final preparation of the designed structural failure.
The 100 tonne excavator is applying lateral pressure to the prepared support structure.
Lateral Pressure has been applied. The structure failed as designed and the 3000 tonne capacity fine ore bin fell away from the 100 tonne excavator.
The directional drop is proceeding as designed.
The ore bin has just touched doun and is now laying over. This bin was about 25% full of ore.
Shot seven of the ore bin structural failure.
The ore bin being inspected after the dust has settled and before the 100 tonne excavator removes the roof & floor and flattens it in preparation for plate removal for resale.
A side view of the bin and supporting structure after a perfect execution and landing at the Paringa Gold Treatment Plant.
Shot one of three showing the transport of the primary ore bin from the Paringa Plant to the auction yard.
Shot two of three showing the transport of the primary ore bin
Shot three of three preparing to unload the bin at the auction yard approximately 3km from the Paringa Gold Treatment Plant.
Lifting and loading the Marcy ball mill for transport to the auction yard.
Unloading the Marcy ball mill at the auction yard.
Lifting the secondary cone crusher for removal to the auction yard before lifting out the primary jaw crusher at the Paringa Gold Treatment Plant.
Holding the cone crusher whilst the low loader maneuvers into place to accept the load at Paringa Plant.
